We had a takeaway meal from here on a recent holiday. Faultless quality cod and chips, served in cardboard takeaway packaging. Well worthy of high trip advisor rating.

Had fish and chips what can I say but fantastic the fish was cooked so well so were the chips and the extras it came with was fantastic they need to keep hold of this chef absolutely fantastic....

I was pleased to hear that the Mermaids Slipper was to re open as a fish and chip take away with a difference after the focus lockdown.What a difference we ordered takeaway with friends, two of us had the haddock one the cod and I had the skate.All the fish was amazing great batter the chips were perfect all portions came with a slice of lemon, tartare sauce and pickled courgette.We also ordered a pot of the gravy which I highly recommend you get some perfect for dipping chips into.In conclusion it is well worth getting the takeaway you will not be disappointed, I will first on the phone to place my order on Wednesday when they are next open.To all the staff at the Mermaids Slipper keep up the good work amazing food as always, look forward to when you can reopen the resturant
