we dived into mothering on Sunday and didn't expect us to have a meal. all the tables booked, but we were accepted at the bar with which we were more than satisfied. the carvery was delicious and so much choice my teller was full before I knew. Quite simply I cannot understand these reviews, this pub isn’t worth crossing the road for let alone the journey. It’s not a destination place, the surroundings are shabby beyond belief, the service at best surly, the menu appears to consist of mostly frozen food cooked up, and we waited nearly 45 minutes for fish and chips and a bill for almost £100 for 4, with 6 drinks between the 4 of us. Absolutely amazing service and the food is just perfect. Carvery veg is so fresh, great selection and desserts are delicious. Would absolutely recommend to anyone!
Been this place every time we’re on the broads went for dinner last night we had a mixed bag off the menu and a couple of carverys everything was great the carvery was possibly the best I’ve had with the vegetables perfect not stewed and mushy like most places massive choice will definitely be returning again next year
We went here for the pensioners lunch,£7,add a dessert for £3,it was absolutely fantastic, I chose the roast turkey with all the trimmings,wow! fantastic value and all our food was beautif ,full size portions too,would definitely recommend
Great pub if you want to dine out with your dog as on top of usual menu, there is a doggy menu! What's not to like! Very nice, tasty food all round.

It’s no wonder pubs are closing, this was my worst pub experience in a very very long time.
