El Cerro Grande - North Myrtle Beach

Good food with hefty portions. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. I've tried the appetizer platter and a few main courses. The food has always been hot and fresh.

We had a senior's luncheon of our church at El Cerro's today and could not be more pleased! The manager and staff were very accommodating, they set up a special section for us. The food and service were outstanding. We look forward to dining there again!

The food was good but they gave you very small portions. We got there as soon as they opened so we didn't have to wait long for a table or food. The service was pretty poor tho. Our waitress wasn't very attentive, she only had our table to wait on and she didn't come check on is but once the entire meal. We had to wait forever for the check and when she finally brought it we we're waiting on her to come back so we could pay, I got up to look for her and she was sitting at the bar talking to her co workers.

The best Mexican food I've had! Awesome service too!! Eating at the bar was a great idea, the bartender was a gem

The service was fine except they charged us dinner prices for a quick late lunch stop owing to their 3 pm cutoff time. We were there before 3, seated, presented with lunch menus and munching on chips and salsa before being informed the lunch is over and it's dinner time. Additionally they pre added a 20% gratuity to the bill for a group of 4 which was odd. They explained they do it for all their summer customers when it gets crowded in Myrtle Beach. Other than that it was pretty ordinary with food and service.
