What User doesn't like about La Fogata:
Place is clean, staff is great, overall great atmosphere. Whatever's going on in the kitchen. I ordered a 3 taco dinner special. I couldn't find out what the tortillas were made, and they fell apart when I ate them. The plate was LAVA hot, which tells me that they use a microwave somewhere in the cooking process. The rice and the beans looked? And I had to add salt because it was so bland. You don't add salt to Mexic... View all feedback.
Favorite Mexican restaurant in northern palm beach county! My family and I have been coming here for 15 years and have always had a great experience. It is a our go to place when anyone comes to visit or when we’ve had a long week and want to enjoy a delicious margarita. The owner and the staff are always attentive and the food is amazing. In all the places that we’ve tried, this one has the best margarita and mojitos by far! Definitely worth it!
Quaint little environment with great food. Salsa has a little kick to it and sets a good precedent for your meal. Friendly staff, good prices. Give this place a try at lunch! Four stars because the dinner experience is lacking.
The food here is crazy good. Lunch specials don't apply on weekends Don't let that deter you.
Amazing place to eat! Food is spectacular, and the service is out of this world. I have been coming for years and always get the same excelente experience.
Ate here for the first time and really enjoyed the meal. They started with chips and salsa: the chips were fine but nowhere near the best chips I've ever had. The salsa was of the thin, not chunky variety with good heat and flavor. Ordered the 2-4-1 margaritas which were delicious and fairly strong. We ate the mole enchiladas (fantastic) and a beef enchilada/tamales (preferred the tamales) combo, both dinners come with rice and beans. The rice was just fine but the beans (refried) were delicious. One thing to note is the prices have gone up I guess because the online menu shows $12/$13 for most entrees while most items on the menu now are $16/$17. I think it's a little high, but if the increase has led to better wages for waitstaff I think that's acceptable, I just won't be able to eat here as often as I'd like. Just please update the online menu to accurately reflect these changes.
