Good Coffee. Have done this 4 times. Good coffee. Food is above average but not that exciting. Chef distracted with decorating plates, which is really annoying. If i want pesto scattered around my scrambled eggs, I'll order it that way, thanks. Otherwise reasonable, honest cafe food. Coffee a winner. Better than most on Queens Parade (other than Cavallini). Small shop a benefit as it as a relaxing atmosphere. View all feedback.
This is a fantastic coffee spot. The short macchiato I ordered was perfectly made. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is peaceful. I am quite particular about my short macchiatos, and Down to Earth Coffee and Tea House is definitely one of the best coffee shops in Melbourne.
I really enjoy visiting Down To Earth restaurant, as it has a great atmosphere and the food is always delicious. It's refreshing to have a non-trendy cafe option in Clifton Hill. The nut brownie is amazing, and the coffee is stronger and more consistent than other places I've tried. The staff are all friendly and provide excellent service with a smile. Be sure to try the soups as well – they are delicious and come in generous portions.
Best coffee on Queens Parade! Never disappointed when I eat here on a fairly regularly basis.
