This place is great, very clean. Wonderful freshly made food. It's more of a grab an go, but they welcome u to sit at the counter or at one of their tables. Have had breakfast an lunch. The new owners are a local family and they are so accommodating, pleasant an welcoming. They give u options as an example, wieners you can have spicy sauce or regular (they are both good), variety of muffins, breads, rolls. They also... View all feedback.
What Jeff K doesn't like about Snoopy's Diner:
I can't get over breakfast in takeout packaging. I see people saying there's a sign but i definitely didn't see it and actually looked for it on the way out. I won't rate the food because hot food in a cold take out package isn't fair to rate. My eggs were cooked perfectly tho and the young man taking orders was very nice and professional. I just think it's sad they have this iconic dinner and it's being run like a f... View all feedback.
Food was mediocre at best would not recommend will not be returning. Food was served in takeout boxes with plastic utensils. You need to change your name because you are nothing like the snoopys we all knew and loved.
When Snoopys reopened under new owners, I was so excited. And I'm even more pleased to say that I love it! I usually stop in here every few weeks always for take out. From cradle to grave, it is an overall great experience. Polite service via phone, ready as stated, extremely pleasant worker always behind the bar slinging food and cashing you out. They serve their items in take out containers and even have a sign saying if people don't feel comfortable they can always order a sandwich wrapped in foil. The take out idea is brilliant because sometimes you wait twenty years at places before they get back to the table. My husband has a wheat allergy and it's great to know they have plenty of gluten free options!

It's a real diner. The new owners have had it for a year and a half, they told me. Food is good. You can call ahead and have it ready to eat when you get there. Fairly expensive, but what isn't. Very nice staff. All plates are throw away. I think they deserve a try. Varied menu.
It's great to see Snoopy's open again! They said they've been open since Dec. 4, 2021, but go figure, it took us that long to discover this and try it again. The new owners have changed things around a bit the former entrance is now the exit and vice versa; the booths have been removed for tables; and it's all take out service (though you can dine in with your take out) but fortunately they also kept many of the vintage 1940's touches: counter seating with swivel stools, the tiled art deco decor, jukeboxes, and even added a new touch a vintage Coca Cola cooler (though with local soft drinks RI Yacht Club brand). I had a trio of NY System red hots, all the way, with fries nicely done, hot and tasty. My wife had their healthier option, a garden salad with tuna, and she said it was fresh and tasty. Just wish they would return to using real dishes and tableware for those dining in and put in a recycling bin next to the trash bin for the beverage bottles instead of throwing them out. Snoopy's only serves breakfast and lunch as they did before.
