What User doesn't like about Crescent Hotel:
Dropped in for dinner to a rowdy foul mouthed group which should have been the clue. Order meals and got the wrong meal. If you are going to have a scotch fillet shintzel on the board don't mix it up with the scotch fillet. No check on our meals. Overall a disappointing experience. View all feedback.

After reading many reviews or more like options, we thought we would check it out for our selfs, so last Tuesday we called in for dinner, there were 8 of us, started with pub loafs oh yea get the cheese added they were perfectly heated, the whole group selected from the menu and specials board, and there was not one complaint I had lamb cutlets perfectly pink served with 6 veggies and there were lots of them crisp seasoned my wife went for the daily special which was house made rabbit pie served with creamy mash and greens it brought a tear to her eye said it was just like her mothers, our guests choose flounder , fish n steak all cooked to perfection then we were talked in to deserts by our host rose we had house made lemon meringue yum yum our guests had bread n butter pudding and golden syrup dumplings So i highly recommend this place, and we will definitely be back well down to the crescent team 10 out of 10
Called in for an evening meal prior to heading off to see a gig down the road. Despite some of the previous negative reviews, we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I had the flathead fish. Batter was great, as were the chips. Service by a brand new waitress was commendable. Pub is quiet...perfect for conversation. Will be back.
Pub dead. 2 other patrons.Friendly chatty barlady or else a 2 would have been scored. Cook late; took ages to prep. Lights off in Dining room. Patrons left and we should have too. Waited at table for ages. No bread and butter as was usual and no News Papers in the Bar either. Ordered Flounder and Beef Cheeks. Both plates were ice cold on arrival and food tepid. Flounder good but Veggies not so good. Beef Cheek tender but bland.Unseasoned and tepid. Veggies tepid and tasteless Not freshly cooked. Short cuts not up to scratch. Two tiny veg chips were ice cold on top and flaccid. What was the cook doing in there for so long? This is not good value for money at $25 & $28Doesn't compare with previous owners and we ate alone and left alone through an empty bar. Something is badly adrift and needs attention. Quickly!
