We had a reservation for 3:30, but arrived at 3 o'clock. We decided to have a drink before our meal and happily sat outside on a bench. The staff were all wearing masks and the tables were socially distant. The service was fantastic and the staff were attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. I especially loved my steak, it was delicious! View all feedback.
What SpringerSpaniel2015 doesn't like about The Dirty Duck:
Popped in for a spot of lunch after being in Bangor. The staff were pleasant. We had a lovely view from our table. Ordered fish and chips and a scampi. Food came very quickly which I’m always suspicious of. The presentation was awful. Food just dumped on plate, no separate dish for tartar sauce. Very overpriced for very average food. Definitely had better at my local chippy. This place came recommended but won’t be r... View all feedback.
Lovely spot overlooking Belfast Lough! Haven't tried the food yet (hence the 0 stars) but the menu looks great! Very friendly staff, great decor and a well sized mostly sheltered beer garden (with additional bar outside). If you're into rubber ducks, duck artwork and a cosy bar after a walk on the coast then The Dirty Duck Alehouse is perfect for you! Any bar with a fireplace inside is a winner for me, especially with such a tasty Guinness. Looking forward to trying the food sometime soon!
Popped in for a few afternoon beers and a nachos to share. Great place and will definitely be back!
Lively pub with great outside seating. Very friendly place.
Very friendly. Lovely outdoor area. Good prices. Warm and comfortable.
Called in for lunch with adult son. Like everywhere at present, the menu is quite expensive however service was quick and the portions are large and extremely tasty. I couldn 't finish my 'Desperate Dan ', sausages mash, which is very unusual for me. Overall great experience but expensive for a lunch.
