Been going to 5 West Pub for 10 years. Will not be returning. My husband ordered a burger which have always been great. He asked me to taste. I had put in my napkin. Had Sour slightly bitter taste. Waitress took back. And asked my husband if he would like something else he got a pizza. Tried to charge us for both. But apologized when brought to her attention. Tots One -need I say more? Off menu/ I was introduced by a local and I, in turn, brought a Wildwood native -who is a connoisseur of tater tots south jersey. She was wowed (Tots two for her) and will bring her peeps. I know this is a bar but the food is good. A bit pricey but good. Unless you are really hungry just order the tots and a beverage -we ordered a burger with a salad and brought it home. Fare $50.00 plus tip. Worth it we both had take homes (no tots though)
My hubby I ha a great meal here last weekend including their fabulous clam chowder, crab cake sandwich w/fresh cut fries, Caesar salad w/steak Mac cheese that was phenomenal. Great drinks from the bar too. Service was on point and we look forward to coming back soon!
I was visiting from NC and my cousin suggested this place for a quick bite and drink. I was able to get a table at the bar during the eagles game. Great beer selection, delicious buffalo wings, friendly staff and very clean environment. Will return when I visit again!!
Five. West is one of our favorites. They are led by the same people who own Tishas. It can be very loud (lower space, but many hard surfaces, so I recommend going early. You have Happy Hour every day 3-6 (and all day Sunday, that will crowded! with many drinks and food specialties, a half price menu during the Phillies game, and also daily specialties. Your oven pizza is fantastic (my favorite is Popeye Spinat, their burgers are fantastic (can be under a grilled chicken breast, great salads (highly recommend the Jersey tomatoes in summer! , as well as a huge menu of other offers (yesterday I had a crab cake sandwich and hubby had pulled pork slides .
