This restaurant was on my list of places to eat for quite some time. It didn’t disappoint. The food was delicious. We ordered Brussels sprouts, cauliflower and the whole fish. Sitting out on the patio was a great spot. View all feedback.
What Mike Dawson doesn't like about Launderette In Aust:
We visited with an open mind and left with a ruined afternoon. Started with a terrible host who was very unwelcoming. The menu seemed interesting, we had pork hash which is really just two slimy eggs and some old pork scrapings. My wife had the famous salmon, she's now on the toilet so beware. Everything seemed packaged even the fancy sounding cinnamon roll which was coated with apple jam from Randals. Last time we v... View all feedback.
Unique dishes and great service that are surprisingly well-priced. Our table had the grilled octopus, lamb sausage orecchiette, shrimp, grilled mushrooms, and arancini and they were all exceptional. Will be back!
Amazing Austin staple! Drinks and food were great, new plates every course, and the attention to detail was appreciated. Will be back!
This is my favorite brunch restaurant in Austin and has been for the past 6 years. I first took my *long distance boyfriend* here in 2018 and it was just the best. The service is great, the coffee is great, I have sat outside, inside, and at the bar and I have loved all of the experiences. The menu is diverse and I have been having the fried chicken sammy for the past 6 years and have never gotten sick of it. So much so this is where that same *long distance boyfriend* booked our engagement brunch with our parents and out of town friends. We have probably been here over 20 times in the past 6 years and it is such a staple! Cannot recommend it enough! For the details: They have handicap accessibility, cater to food allergies (I am allergic to nuts), the service is top notch PLUS they have a parking lot.
Fantastic spot for a bite and drinks, the service is exceptionally attentive and the food is outstanding. Great location for a date or nice meal with friends.
Love this place, east Austin staple. I prefer their normal menu over brunch. The brunch menu is underwhelming with only one egg option sunny, so it feels pre prepped.
