City Perch Kitchen - North Bethesda

Nice place next to a movie theater . The outside area with the balcony and street view is cozy with the city feel. Service was great. Nice twist on a calamari dish with artichoke and Fresno pepper.

Not the same city perch 2 things on menu! Horrible menu, salads were not fresh! Never again

We asked to sit outside but were told they didn’t have any clean tables/enough seat's to seat our party on the balcony . We were seated by the windows and there were 2 tables and 2 other seating areas under umbrellas that could seat our party on the balcony. However 3 other parties arrived and were seated outside while we were still waiting for a server to greet us and get drinks/food services. I liked the environment but I would not recommend this place. My son and I had the perch burger. We asked for it to be well done. His originally came out medium well and was sent back and the second time it was also medium well. My burger was well done but it had a bitter taste and it had zero flavor or seasoning.

I recently went here for my birthday brunch, and it was a complete disaster. After putting in our order and getting our drinks (just coffee and water), our server informed us that the kitchen messed up one order and they were remaking it. We patiently waited for another 30 minutes, but the food never arrived. When I finally flagged down a different server (since ours was nowhere to be found), I mentioned that I just wanted to pay for our drinks and leave. Miraculously, our original server reappeared and told us that the kitchen had given our orders to another party that arrived after us. The restaurant wasn’t even busy, so there was no excuse for such a mistake. Overall, it was a frustrating experience, and I definitely won’t be returning.

City Perch very nice. Great atmosphere and service. Food was solid, really good crabcake sandwich and truffle fries. I also got the brussel sprouts which were great. They have nice options for happy hour food and drinks! I would definitely return.
