What DrPaulT doesn't like about Aura:
I like the hotel and stay here regularly for work. The Aura serves the bar type meals. There is the main hotel restaurant instead. I've often found the food a bit uninteresting. Quite a contrast to the main restaurant. Breakfast the salmon is superb. The problem is when you sit down they take your order for the cooked breakfast but then bring it out before you've managed to have your cereal, etc. View all feedback.
Breakfast is served in the Aura Bar and Brassiere if you are staying at the Seamill Hydro. Service isn’t rushed and there is a good selection of cooked breakfast or continental. Fresh tea, coffee and juice is also offered.
Thoroughly enjoyed the comfy chairs, the bar can accommodate large parties, a great family bar with children allowed. Good selections drinks and beers on tap, cocktails very accommodating bar staff. The bar also has booths spread out so everyone has there own private space. The bar also has 2 large TV screens for sports events etc but its not busy or overpowering very pleasant area.This doubles up as the breakfast room in the mornings.
Had a lovely meal here in very warm and inviting surroundings. The staff were friendly and efficient and the food was delicious. It was Christmas week so was very busy but that just added to the whole atmosphere. Definitely worth another visit in the near future.

Restaurant is very good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good choice of food. The dessert we had was delicious . Best fish and chips I've had in a long time. The batter was lovely and crispy just the way I like it. Service was very good. Staff were very nice.
