The Purple Hull - North Augusta

We went to Atlanta and found this little jewel. The food was amazing! We were greeted with beautiful smiles and immediately help. Everybody was so friendly. But the food? We saved this place every time we travel, we know where we stop! And don't forget Dessert. Put the cheesecake factory to shame. Five stars!

$12 for medium, dark meat chicken dinner without drinking. $15 for roasted cats dinner w/ hush puppies. The good: Wels was fresh, light and tasty. The onion rings are good. The dissatisfied: power box macaroni and cheese is better than their soup box crucifixion, the potatoes and onions were hard and flammed. Even my dogs turned their nose on them. The two chicken pieces were properly cooked, but there are 3 better places within a mile to get a more affordable and tasty meal.

Here's a GEM! I love the feeling of Mom and Pop. Locally run by family members. Warm and friendly service and especially the food is delicious. Deserts are so delicious! Not too sweet, very creamy. Will definitely be back.

1. Today. Really good food and desserts are homemade and packed to take home. Three home today. Lime cake! Love at home cooking someone else. I'm normal!

Good southern food with not so much southern hospitality. I've had the beef tips, the cube steak and the pot roast and it has all been very good. The ordering and the waitress situation is interesting. A smile wouldn't hurt. It doesn't stop me from going though, just like everyone else.
