We eat here at least once on each visit to North Vancouver area (app. 10 out of the last 15 years). Service and quality have stayed steady over the years. Pizza is very good - we tend to stick to the sausage, pepperoni basic pizza. The patio can to hot on sunny days and it does overlook a very busy street as well as the bay. Most of the time we tend to eat inside. There is a sports bar section is that is your interes... View all feedback.
What Nelle Wolf doesn't like about Boston Pizza - Esplanade North Vancouver:
It's been a while since I last dined here. We were on a tight time line, just wanting a quick bite before our movie started. The waitress was great helping us get our drinks and snacks immediately. My friends and I shared a huge platter that consisted of all the artery clogging bar food: Boston potato chips Hot wingsRibs Pizza Celery sticks Cheesy flat bread I liked the idea of sharing amongst friends, but I found th... It was the first and last time I will be eating at this location until it is under better management! Our grandchildren who were visiting us said they really wanted pizza for lunch and I thought this would be a nice spot to take them....We were seated right away, but had to wait 20 minutes for a server to appear to take our orders. She took the orders of people who arrived after us first, which wasn’t her fault, as she probably wasn’t informed which table arrived first. She was busy serving two other parties of 8. There was only one other server in the restaurant. After that we waited another 15 minutes for our drinks to be served. The food arrived shortly after that and was okay, but the wait time was just acceptable. We felt sorry for the young server. The table across from us blasted her for the poor service, but it was actually the management who had not done a proper job of scheduling more wait staff. What a shame. The young girl was practically in tears and run off her feet! I hope she finds a new place to serve where she can be appreciated and provide customers with the service they deserve!
Quick dinner with the family. Our daughter loves the bugs and cheese. I had their Chicken Ceaser Salad, actually quite good. Romaine cut a bit small, but nice sized bacon bits and a tangy Ceaser dressing. Over all better than expected. Service very good, absolutely...no issue there.
On Oct 28, 2022, I attended the Boston Pizza on Esplanade at 88 Chesterfield Avenue North Vancouver BC. Below are the pictures of what I saw. Dirty Filthy restaurant. It appears the carpets have not been vacuumed in months. The tables were greasy and unwiped,...the windows mucky with fingerprints, debris under the table. When I looked in the corner of the window where I was sitting, I was HORRIFIED to see hundreds of dead bugs. I pointed it out to the server to notify the manager and she casually quipped “oh, he’s not here today”. As if that’s a solution. Why is the manager not there on a Friday lunch hour?? Or at all for the day? She didn’t care, I told her to tell him anyway. No apology, nothing. I then asked for a to-go box after my salad took a half hour to prepare, even though there were only 2 tables filled in the dining room and I was one of them and I was alone. The other table had 2 men. So 3 people, and still service was slow and awful. But the worst part was the unhygienic dead bugs 6 inches from the table.
Incredibly delicious food and outstanding service! Ordered a Signature Meal Deal on call for pickup. Garden salad was really good with great mix of leaves and veggies, totally fresh! Fettuccine primavera pasta was delicious! Mediterranean pizza was so flavourful with really quality ingredients (drizzle of...pesto was the highlight)! Definitely recommended BP location! Thanks to the team!
Stopped by for an early dinner at BP last night. The place looked almost cleaned, but social distancing wasn’t a concern! We ordered a Pizza Burger from the We are Sorry! menu and we were SORRY to go with it as my wife was struggling...with a terrible stomachache the whole night till morning! The KICK'N MEMPHIS CHICKEN SANDWICH was not very different either as I saw it all in reverse just 2 hrs after we arrived home! Very frustrated with our dishes last night n I believe there was sth wrong with their ingredients! The service was abysmal in its own way! I had to chase the waitress to get some ketchup, which turned out to be an empty bottle when we got at the table! So good job on delivering the no-ketchup bottle! On top of all, the Boston Royal pizza was a huge failure as nothing was cooked on the dough and the shrimp could start moving if it weren’t for the knife and the fork pointing at it!
