What Tim Oyer doesn't like about Alexander's Steakhouse:
Food was good for me. Not so much for my wife. Somehow, at pretty much every place she orders steak, She gets a tiny piece of meat, asks for medium- well and gets burnt shoe leather. No different here. Same thickness as mine on one end and paper thin on the other. She couldn't even finish it. Definitely the best steakhouse in Normal IL! Always great food, service, and drinks!
Great place for steak and grilled food in bloomington. Patrons have the choice of grilling their food over hardwood coals or having staff to perfectly grill for them. They offer several options of steak, chicken, or shrimp. Guests may begin their meal with a well stocked salad bar.
Very disappointed. We went for a birthday celebration. They have raised their prices and reduced the amount of food you receive. We waited an hour for our food. They charged $15 for a 6 year old to get the salad only. The steaks were good but overall disappointed in the experience. It was one of our favorite places to go but we will not be returning any time in the near future.
They charged a $5 fee for charging a $180 bill to a credit card. I will not go back.
The staff were SUPER friendly and the atmosphere was amazing so was the food I would come here again great steakhouse.
