Sake Sushi - Norfolk

I recently visited Sake Sushi Restaurant and had a somewhat mixed experience. While the Eel, Boston, and Chicken Tempura rolls were decent, I found the yakisoba to be pretty bland. The flavors didn’t quite come together as I had hoped. On the other hand, the edamame was pretty good.The Eel, Boston, and Chicken Tempura rolls were done pretty well. The eel had a nice texture and flavor, and the combination of ingredients in the Boston and Chicken Tempura rolls was pleasing. The rolls were well-prepared and presented, but they didn’t particularly stand out compared to other sushi restaurants I’ve visited.

My husband and I are travelers on a trip from Pittsburgh. We searched Google and entered the restaurant, but first of all, there was an unpleasant smell.The man serving was wearing an apron and a black T-shirt, but the flour was stained like someone who just came out of the kitchen of a Chinese restaurant. While dragging his slippers, he told me the size when I asked him what the size of the tempura was. It was a terrible fake tempura that you don't normally see at Japanese restaurants. I would like to say that the fact that there are customers is a terrible restaurant, and at least pay attention to the clothes of the server.

Need a quick service and good food? This is the place to go. I have been here over 10 times and today I decided why not give a review. I went in for lunch today and it really made my day. The service and food were fantastic. It was quiet and peaceful. I ordered the Bento lunch box and a fog cutter. The lunch box is always on point. The fog cutter really cut the fog because I feel so much better than I did when I walked in. As a fellow restaurant employee, I really appreciate this place because with just 3 visable staff members they manage to make it all run smoothly! Teriyaki was disgusting with no flavor and the customer service was horrible!!! Very unsanitary, I literally saw one of the Mexican guys play with his hair, then begin to make the sushi. That’s why you always watch people make your food. Very bad job.
