What User doesn't like about iS Tapas Bar:
Came for dinner the other night. They'd run out of most of what we wanted, the dumplings and paella. We had four dishes, duck pancakes $18 and mushrooms $10, both were nice, steak tataki was tiny $16 and haloumi $9 very ordinary. Add a couple of drinks and the bill came to around $100. I've been to this place a few times and the tapas here is ok I normally order a few tapas and the red wine sangria which I found is better than the white. So the last time I was there I was sitting on the tall chairs at the front overlooking the front of the restaurant drinking red wine sangria when I saw who I presume were the owners as they were bring items from their car through the restaurant and into the back restocking. As I was enjoying the sangria I noticed that in the hands of one of the owners was a few goon sacks of red wine golden oak. Looking back through their drinks menu the only thing I could see they would use this for is the red wine sangria. So I asked the waitress and bar staff what red wine went into this sangria and I was advised that they did not know as only the owners/managers make this drink Just to be clear the sangria in this place is actually quite nice, it has Ruby grapefruit in it which is the nice twist I like to it however, now knowing that the red wine in it is goon I would like to see the price of it reduced. Paying $30+ for a jug of goon and juice is pretty heavy. Also try the duck spring rolls

Great food, service and atmosphere! Food selection will suit most people and having visited multiple times, there are no bad dishes. Personally recommend the vodka infused bruschetta with lamb!
The place exudes a cheerful vibe, the staff (3) obviously enjoy working here. Nothing is too much trouble. We wanted to order a bottle of wine, the waiter insisted that he give us a taste to ensure we liked it. The food is incredibly imaginative, a gastronomic treat. The Chef is visible across the kitchen counter, I have never seen a Chef so adept at multi tasking ( The only one in the kitchen) cooking for a full restaurant he must be part octopus.Do yourself a huge favour check them out for lunch or dinner,
If your looking for great tasting tapas, a quiet atmosphere and very attentive staff, then this is the place to come.
