Contribute FeedbackVisit 05.11.2014 The “Classico” is located in St.Wendeler street at the exit to Nohfelden, a little back from the road. Unfortunately, the forecourt offers only a few parking spaces. We therefore usually park on the opposite side on the roadside. Every few weeks we are in the “Classico”. Every visit to a restaurant is a snapshot and service and kitchen can differ more or less from the visit. Sandra in the service and Sergio in the kitchen ensure that this is not the case with Classico. The restaurant is always well visited to recommend booking on weekends. The reception was as always very friendly, order intake and waiting times for drinks and food very pleasant. The device is simple but tasteful; brick walls alternating with cream-colored lacquered walls, chandeliers on the ceilings, brown leather chairs, the tables are covered with brown table runners in leather look, basically there are only fabric napkins, the tasteful non-overcharged decoration completes the noble well-being. No matter what dish we at Sergio decide whether meat, fish, pizza or pasta, we are always satisfied. This time we decided again for my favorite pizza Classico with anchovy, Peperoni sausage, olives and mushrooms, a pizza cook (right pikant) with onions, garlic, ham and extraorder Peperoniwurst. A pizza Capriciosa with mushroom ham, boiled eggs and artichokes and a pizza “Caroline itself” for my daughter. All pizzas are large and with 6,50 to 7,50 € moderately calculated. My granddaughter has a small part of Rigatoni. With drinks, Frascati, Roséweine, Wasser, Limo, Cola and Espresso were charged 54 Euro. Here is the value for money As a greeting from the kitchen there was bread and delicious garlic butter. All pizzas were visually and tastefully prepared 1a, with fresh ingredients. My companions were as happy as me. The pizza dough was crusty, not too thin and not too thick and, despite the lush bedding, not passed through in the middle, the base of the bedding formed a spicy, well lubricated tomato sauce. Conclusion: I can recommend the “Classico”. Beautiful ambience and an established service and kitchen team ensure a pleasant stay. We'll be back.
