What Sharica J doesn't like about Blue Camas Buffet:
The one star is generous for this buffet it was by far the worst low budget variety marked up as top notch food. The layout is terrible and there are limited choices to pick from and the food was horrible. Save money and hit another spot worth the $20 or so dollars. View all feedback.
Omg crab legs! All the seafood seemed fresh and delicious!! The buffet was clean and had other good offerings. We will most definitely be back.
12/23/19 UPDATE Received cut paste canned response that doesn 't change from all the rest of the negative reviews. If these reviews are making it to management, then nothing is being done about them. Again, you 've lost a patron of 18 years for both casino and restaurants, who has stuck by you through so much, just because of things like this that screams WE DON 'T CARE that we 're losing loyal customers! Go away, we don 't want your business!! I have complained 3 out of 4 of the last times I 've been there...nothing has improved. 12/20/19 ORIGINAL REVIEW 3 visits out of 4 in 2 months has been like the following review You should be worried when you see no line on a Friday night at 6:30pm. sigh if only I 'd have listened to my gut I 'd be $60 to the good and not have diarrhea I have been a patron of Blue Camas buffet at the Red Wind Casino for over 18 years now. I have always recommended to family, friends, co workers and during casual conversations. I can no longer justify making excuses and pretending to be shocked when the quality of the food has been so terrible for 3+ years now and they keep raising the prices. Speaking to manager Ameir tonight was useless when telling him that 2 separate batches of their crab legs tasted horrible and had a bad smell. He apologized and said he 'd check back with us later after talking to his Sous chef!! Yeah, we never saw him again. Needless to say, you have lost us as customers now forever...and what 's more, I 'll be telling everyone (over 10 couples and 6 single persons) about my experience. I can honestly say that I am saddened to have to write this review.
Wooooh, for less than $15 priceless! our first time visiting this place and oh boy what can I say food is good and waitress are very friendly and attentive.
This buffet has gone steadily downhill over the past several years. We went yesterday (Father's Day) for the special Father's Day brunch. We have been at least 10 times on Father's Day and it just gets progressively more disappointing. Apparently other customers feel the same way; in past years we sometimes waited 30 minutes or more just to get seated and the place was packed. This year there was no wait and the place was 2/3rd empty. Since this is a holiday buffet, the price is jacked up from 25.95 a person to 32.95. I have no problem with the price if the food quality and quantity is commensurate with the amount of money spent. Not a chance! They have decided not to run the omelette station on holidays. Apparently the fresh waffle making also. Both of these are popular stations and both are eliminated on holidays while the price goes up. There were, however, a few premade waffles (hard and cold) next to some soggy looking premade and extremely pale pancakes. A lot of the hot food was not hot, or even lukewarm. The ham they put out for carving looked dried out and horrible. The scrambled eggs were absolutely tasteless and without seasoning of any kind. The overall selection of the food seemed underwhelmingly sparse and unappealing. I myself am most interested in the breakfast selections and I can get a better breakfast, hot fresh, at Jack-in-the-Box for 5.95 (the country scrambler platter). The two men in our party are seafood lovers and they were happy with the clams and Dungeness crab. However, in years past King Crab Legs were also available and have since been eliminated. The prime rib also looked decent but no one in our party had it. It appears that the seafood and the prime rib are the only items that warranted any attention to quality or preparation. Between the 2 women in our party we ate about 12.00 worth of food. This means for the 2 men we spent about 60.00 each for them to eat clams and crab. I can't think that we will be doing this again. I can find a lot of other places where 60.00 buys a really nice dining experience! Update note on this review: I was surprised to find an apology (sort of, below). What makes this interesting is that I started looking at replies to other bad reviews and this is a canned response, with just a few words changed on each one. The apologies are just like the food: tasteless, lukewarm, unsubstantial and thoroughly unsatisfying. Really, why even bother?

Even vegans will find enough to get stuffed. It's perhaps not as extravagant as found in Lost Wages, but it's a lot closer! Casino management probably expects you to subsidize your meal by losing money in the slots or on the gambling tables. But if you go to just eat and not gamble, you'll show them!
