Went with a group of around 50 people for Xmas in July lunch. Food was delicious and service was really good. Of course we had booked in advance and it was a set meal, but I could not say anything bad about our service and meal. View all feedback.
What Hazel Stark doesn't like about Bridges at Hurstbridge:
Disappointing lunch they are trying to do too much with each dish. My veal schnitzel looked like it had been rolled in lawn cuttings (too many herbs over took the whole flavour) the sauce looked separated in the pot on the side and not appealing. My partner had the beef short ribs which just seemed microwaved with some extra sauce added to them and didn't melt in your mouth. The bruschetta had too much on it and did... View all feedback.
We went to Bridges for a coffee and to walk through the children's room. There were dead plants everywhere, reminiscent of Imelda Marcos' shoe collection. The restaurant had a haphazard collection of eclectic plants that looked like they had been thrown together. The coffee we ordered was lackluster and the ashtrays were filled with water from the rain. It was quite disgusting. The lawn was overgrown with brambles in the back. The outdoor terrace was beautiful, but all the pots had dead or dying plants in them. The whole place looked rundown and in need of a major makeover. It's a shame because it used to look really nice. What a scandal and a disappointment.
We attended a Memorial service at the Bridges Function centre. Very well set out, quite a pleasant atmosphere for this occasion. The gathering afterwards was around the Bar area and outside. Staff were very pleasant both behind the Bar and Food Waitresses.... Can imagine lots of various functions at this establishment.. Great for the area.
This is one of my favorite brunch spots in East Delray, mostly due to their mimosas.
We're sitting here right nownumber one, we ordered drinks 20 minutes ago, haven't arrived.
11/2017 update: was looking for a place on Atlantic Ave to have brunch with my boyfriend and my dog.
