April 28, 2018 Love love love love love chocolate campfire cake! It's a smores cake with marshmallow icing and lots of ooey gooey chocolate inside the chocolate chiffon cake. There are also chocolate bits in it. Bannoffee Pie!!! Now I know who supplies Starbucks. Best little banana, caramel, Graham crust pies with loads of cream on top. Eat moderately or plan a cheat day because one slice will definitely be not enoug... View all feedback.
If you want a good chocolate cake, Purple Oven's the one to go to. I've always loved their Chocolate Campfire cake. What makes it different from all other chocolate cakes? The chocolate surprise in the middle when you take a slice!
We bought the Chocolate campfire cake as a birthday cake for our relative. I love how the the icing perfectly blends with the chocolate cake and there's like 2 or 3 layers of pure chocolate I dunno if it's hershey's or what but damn! It's heaven! Will try their pistachio stardust cake next time On the other hand, i felt bad that they do not sell sliced cakes.
We were here to buy cake for my mom's birthday. It was a good thing that for a Saturday afternoon, there were still a lot of cake choices. Of course we decided on getting the famous Chocolate Campfire. And of course we were not disappointed. I think that Chocolate Campfire is more of a default when people talk about Purple Oven. Because it's really that good. My suggestion is to not eat too much of the white marshmallow cream so you don't get overwhelmed with the sweetness. While waiting for our order, I saw pecan pies and chocolate lava cake on display. So guess what I did. Of course I sampled both. The pecan pie is not too sweet and has the right level of crunchiness. And the lava cake is kust lovely (see what I did there? .
Want yummy pastries? purple oven has a variety to choose from! yummy brownies lemon squares revel bars! anything chocolate is good! small place with big taste!
I don't know if it's intentional but the Purple Oven branches that were opened initially were close to churches (San Antonio and Sacred Heart). Maybe it's a great market; the Titas of Manila can be very generous with their pasalubong coming from church. I almost always order only 3 things from here: Chocolate Campfire, Fudge Brownies, and I don't know if it's a fluke, but I had really nice Lemon Squares once. I see that it's not in the menu now.Up: Tasty desserts with knowledgeable staff; cute nameDown: Heavy on the pocket
