Had our org's meeting in this Ramen place and I what I ordered is unorthodox. For some reason I was craving for Crispy Chicken Teriyaki and so I succumb to my craving. The dish is generally good, crispy it is though I find it on the sweet side (maybe because I did not pair it with rice). Service is commendable as the staff were attentive and helpful at most times. Tried this place twice already. Saikoro beef teppan is really good. Not salty. Crunchy kani is good too. They also have fast service and the only thing that’s hampering a 5-star is my friend tried one of the ramen and was disappointed. Sorry, can’t recall which one she tried.
Theres alot of good sushi places in Manila. I have eaten in Kenji countless times. It isn't special but it does everything well. Always have the spicy salmon or tuna rolls. Served with crunchy tempura flakes favourite in the fam) the tempura is good along with the crispy chicken teriyaki. Food is consistent and the staff are always welcoming although does help I was part of the furniture at one time.
My favorite restaurant so far. The best crunchy kani grabe! Mouth watering talaga I highly recommend this resto guys, sulit and no regrets eating here!
I enjoyed eating my lunch here even if I ate alone. Staffs are friendly and will immediately come to you once they see you calling out to them. Food looks good and is really yum. Would definitely eat here again with my s.o. Thanks! I had katsudon, miso soup and iced tea. Paid a peso more than 500 and did not regret leaving my change. lol. I stayed full ‘til dinner time. Really worth it.
Kenji Tei was a refreshing take on ramen. You can’t really compare it to other ramen houses because the flavors are really different. It has this taste that you can remember it by. At first look, the ingredients used are not like what I’m used to and I actually wondered if it will come out good. After I got that first sip, the flavor came together. The broth compliments the ingredients inside. The noodles were thicker than usual, it also has this slightly slippery texture. Their new tempura maki is also a must try! The perfect food to snack on while taking a little break from finishing the ramen. Their menu has a lot to offer apart from just ramen, we also tried the salmon sashimi. Good alternative if you don’t like tempura. The ice tea was too strong for my taste, it’s not the sugary version. The place is not to crowded and the staff were accommodating. Perfect for a quiet lunch!
