Pj Clarke's Tioga Downs - NICHOLS

Food was great..loved our server- her name was Mattison. She was excellent. Ambiance not so great at Tioga…but not a big deal. Overall had a nice time.

Server was attentive, responsive to questions and requests. Steamers were delicious! Spouse's prime Rib was very large and appropriately pink not at all overcooked. Baked potato was tasty. My salmon was good, appropriately cooked. Large serving of Broccoli, almost overcooked but not... onion straws are always good.

Considering the prices of the meals, one would expect higher class dining. As we were waiting for our drinks, our food came. And then our drinks came, so we didn't really get to enjoy our drinks before our meal. The food was just EH. not good, not bad, but again considering the prices one would expect more. Our waitress was pleasant but not attentive as the restaurant was very slow for a Friday night at 6pm. Live and learn I guess.....

This is our favorite restaurant! It is so good and the service is always great. We had reservations right before the Kentucky Derby, so we thought it could be slower or really louder. It wasn't! It was perfect as usual. The food is so good. Drinks are also really good. Great bar and great food!

Our food was not hot this time, usually hot... my only complaint.
