Trevino's Gold Creek - NICHOLLS

Daughter booked here as it was convenient for both us , travelling through Canberra, and family to meet for dinner. Not the flashiest restaurant setting but the kids enjoyed the paper tablecloth’s for drawing. All our meals looked and by all accounts tasted nice, what more do you want. Generous servings at what I guess are Canberra prices

The food is really good and great value. Unfortunately its run more like a cafe than restaurant. The table service is generally limited to food only and rarely do staff come back to the table to ask how the food is (fundamental customer service in this enviroment). You have to go to the bar to get your own drinks. Whilst waiting staff are generally polite the level of overall service here is average and that's a shame as if the they improved the service the overall dinning experience would be excellent. Also once the kitchen is closed there seems to be pressure to pay and leave. The upside is you definately don't leave hungry.

This restaurant is at the golf club. The views accross tje course towards the city are fabulous. If you sit oitside you can watch kangaroos enjoying themselves. A great spot to take visitors to see kangaroos

We had a birthday dinner at Trevino’s at Gold Creek golf course. What can I say, Wow, We hada table of ten, and we were accommodated without any issues. The steak that I ordered was cooked to perfection, the accompanying sides were cooked to perfection. Every person in our group of ten had a different meal and each meal showed up one after the other. All I can say is, if your after a venue that serves great food with decent servings at a reasonable price with an awesome outlook over the golf course, and you can even hold a conversation without yelling. Then Trevino’s is the place for you.
