We popped in here on a whim, after reading the tripadvisor reviews and they squeezed us in. First of all, if you're going 4PM or later, call for a reservation. It's quite a small place with a small staff. The dining experience was terrific, though. My husband ordered the roast beef dinner...fantastic! There was even yorkshire pudding! I had cucumber sandwiches and clam chowder and both were fabulous. The service was... View all feedback.
This was such a great place to go. I'm so happy I read about it beforehand on trip advisor. We had the high tea which had great little triangle sandwiches, scones and three different desserts. We could not eat everything. There is a choice of about 20 different types of tea. Each individual teapot comes with a tea cozy which is a very cute touch. The owners, who are also the baker and the waiter, were delightful. Mr. (I'm sorry I cannot remember his name) chatted with us and told us his wife did all of the baking. The prices are very reasonable and I highly recommend this as a place to eat. I made our reservation at 4:30 which was perfect because the restaurant was pretty empty and they tend to be very busy around lunch and dinner time.
You should make a reservation, since it is a very small place, but the ambiance is great. Small intimate rooms, real china plates and teacups. I had the fish and chips and it was delicious. Great fries! They have a great variety of tea as well. Try it.....you won't regret it

We would return in a heartbeat, but would make reservations for "high tea" to try that out!
Visited the Queen Charlotte Tea Room for lunch with a friend. We're locals and had never been here. The special was a Crab Croissant with soup or salad. We both chose the Clam Chowder. What a treat, most restaurant soups are so salty I don't enjoy them. This soup was delicious, lots of flavour, nicely seasoned and served with a homemade bun. The crab croissant was made with REAL crab, like my brother catches on the west coast. Absolutely delicious. Desserts were made on the premises and quite unbelievablechoices. Save room for dessert is all I can recommend. Prices are reasonable, staff courteous and friendly, service is quick. Definitely a place to return to.
Short drive from hotel at Falls. Food and service were wonderful! I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
