Thanks to a friend who recommended this place. Amazing. The best Chinese by far. Tastes great. Generous amounts for their price, as is most Chinese. They add extras to dishes for a fair price. Best Chinese fried rice. A simple dish but so different here. Don't let the small restaurant fool you. <br/ <br/ Only downside, restaurant is small and the choices on the menu is limited.
Great family run restaurant.. So fresh, so delicious, so inexpensive. Closed Tuesdays.
2017/07/10<br/ Small place, good food. <br/ <br/ Based on some of the reviews on Zomato, the four of us decided to give Phong's Court a try for dinner. The dining room is pretty small and sparsely decorated, with seating for less than 20. They have one round table that would be a tight squeeze for 6 people, and 6 two-tops that they can separate or combine to accommodate 2 to 6 diners. They also have a very small patio, but it was raining this evening, so dining was inside. We were there before 6 pm, and only the round table was occupied when we got there. My guess is most of there business is takeout. <br/ <br/ They do have a few combo meals on the menu for single diners, and they have a few preset meals for two to six diners. However, we chose to order from the main menu, and eat family style. It is not a huge menu, but we found stuff we liked. <br/ <br/ We started with Hot Sour Soup, which was served piping hot. Lots of pieces of tofu, chicken, sprouts, mushrooms, green onion, in a pleasant, vinegary broth that was not too spicy. <br/ <br/ We chose three main dishes and two orders of small, steamed rice for the four of us, and it was a challenge finishing them all. The first was Broccoli Sautéed Beef. Crunchy broccoli, tender beef, with a good dollop of garlic. The second dish was Kung Pao Chicken with Cashews. Although it was supposed to be a spicy dish, it was relatively mild. Our food al dish was Chicken Lo Mein, since one of us wanted a noodle dish. When the dish arrived, we thought at first that they brought us the same dish as the Kung Pao. After a quick dig, we found the vermicelli under the rest of the stir fried ingredients. <br/ <br/ Service was fast, pleasant and efficient. <br/ <br/
My wife and I have used PHONG'S COURT since they first opened and have never been unhappy with the product or service. I would gladly recommend this place to anyone. We are ordering as I write!
Everything is fresh and prepared from scratch. Feels like I visited a good friends house! Great place hidden from all the Niagara Falls tourist traps.
