amazing service and chefs are happy to make accusations. there were some vegan things that were in the menu so we had many delish options. very well appreciated and super beautiful staff. best Japanese resturante in newtown for those who actually don't eat seafood (ha, I know how that sounds) View all feedback.
What Keyon Powlowski doesn't like about Tanshin Sushi Bar:
Good stuff. Sushi has quality ingredients and even things like scallops are done generously. Karaage and gyoza were pretty good. They seemed to have small serves though, hard to properly compare, I did run out of food but this is still one of the better trains in Newtown. View all feedback.
Love this place! Cheap, cheerful and tasty. Quality is better than other Japanese places in the area. The sushi is fresh and everything is reasonably priced 3.80 for all plates of sushi). Top picks, get the salmon belly miso soup, salmon salad, takoyaki and agedashi tofu
Excellent Sushi! Try the grilled beef, the chicken and avacado, the king prawn tempura and the chilli beef sushi. The pork gyoza and the takoyaki was fantastic.
Good witness. sushi has high quality ingredients and even dinge like scallops are made generous. karaage and gyoza were pretty good. they seemed to have small services, hard to compare properly, I ran out of food, but that's still one of the better moves in newtown.
Mike and imogen are wonderful hosts. nothing is too difficult. they work tirelessly to give them qualitatiw high quality food. we are drawn from the byron bay area where we bought sushi plates for the double price of tanshin plates. the plates at tanshin are of the same standard. high quality at half price. definitiw value for money and they will construct everything they demand.
