Really nice service here. The pizzas are always delicious and the crispy thin crispy pizza base are great. I had the Bosco and the toppings were fresh and delicious. View all feedback.
What Olaf Feest doesn't like about Rocketboy Pizza:
Worst gluten free pizza!! Ok, it used to be great, but we just had some GF pizzas and the base was like a soggy, burnt pancake, it was awful! When I rang to complain, they said they'd had so many complaints they had changed the base, but were selling through the old ones first, because they're so expensive. Uh, I thought that's why they charge extra... View all feedback.
I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant and will not be ordering from here again. I placed an order for 3 pizzas at 6pm via Eat Now and received an SMS saying it would be ready in 60 minutes. However, 80 minutes later, I only received 1 of the 3 pizzas, which was almost cold. The delivery guy tried to call the manager multiple times with no answer. Eventually, he drove back to get the other two pizzas. After contacting the manager, my order could not be located. By 8:30pm, I finally received the remaining 2 pizzas. Despite the long wait and apparent incompetence, there was no compensation such as a free garlic bread or drink. I received a total of 3 pizzas in 2.5 hours for delivery. Thank you for nothing, Rocketboy. I will not be returning.
Dough Boy Newtown is a pizza restaurant located at the beginning of King Street in Newtown. They serve great pizzas, and I have ordered from them multiple times. The exterior of the store looks nice with its use of red, but I have never dined in and decided to finally visit the restaurant. Dough Boy Newtown is a small pizzeria located at 30 King Street, with a maximum seating capacity of about 20. The interior is simple and well-equipped, utilizing pizza dish lamps and tomato sauce can wallpaper. It efficiently makes use of the space it has. I believe the restaurant would benefit from removing the marketing brochures on the wall in the photo below. However, I understand the need for them, as they do a lot of deliveries. Sizes range from small to extra large.
We don't usually venture to the other side of town for pizza. By "other side of town," I mean the far end of King Street, which is a whole two kilometers away. When you're exhausted after work and don't feel like cooking, you do what you gotta do.
Dining in is all about the dough; the warm, yeasty smell permeates the dining room making you very hungry indeed. This is quickly fixed with their excellent and cleverly sliced) breads – both the Garlic and Cheese Bread $7.50) and the Olive Bread $7.50
Worst pizza I ever had. Cold+delivery 90mins(which was suppose to be 45min)+wrong order= THE WORST PIZZA IN SYDNEY!(even when it was half price because it took to long to deliver)
