Clems in Newtown is a convenient chicken shop where you can quickly grab a bite to eat. The fried chicken surpasses that of well-known chains and is served with a friendly touch. The atmosphere is lively and the food is delicious. Just come in without any expectations and you'll leave satisfied.

Clem's is simply an institution. Open late, served fresh, hot and with a smile. The staff here are amazing. Honestly, whether you're here to drown your sorrows in chips and gravy or devour your Monday blues in a piece of fried chicken, Clem's has you covered.The salads are fresh and plentiful but I don't make friends with salad. I come for the fried chicken, chips and gravy every time. Their gravy is so good I could drink it straight out of the container. Like liquid chicken gold. The fried chicken is juicy with a well seasoned coating reminiscent of the Colonel, but with less grease.Fantastic value. I would rather support Clem's over any new chicken joint in the neighborhood anyday.
