Round Table Pizza - Newport Beach

Round Table Pizza has always been my favorite childhood pizza restaurant. I grew up in the Bay Area, later moved to the East Coast, and then to Texas, but I never forgot how amazing Round Table Pizza is. While visiting for work, I stumbled upon this location and couldn't resist stopping in after more than 20 years since my last slice. I'm happy to report that Round Table still delivers! The zesty sauce, crispy crust, perfectly melted cheese, and nice thin pepperonis come together to create a perfect bite. I just learned that there's a Round Table back home, and I can't wait to bring my family there. The food was outstanding, and the atmosphere and service were incredibly welcoming and warm.

The service was excellent, and my order was ready right on time for pickup. This was particularly helpful for my daughter's school event.

I'm not sure what went wrong with Round Table this time, as they usually deliver great food! On Thursday, November 3, 2022, I ordered a personal pan pizza along with three Garlic Twists. Unfortunately, when I received my order, both the pizza and the twists were cold and extremely difficult to chew. I have gum disease, which made it even more challenging—it really hurt to eat! The pizza appeared to have been overcooked and looked like it had been frozen and just reheated. Such a letdown! On a brighter note, the customer service was decent; the staff was friendly and polite.

I typically don’t write reviews, but we had an amazing experience tonight. All of our pizzas were excellent, with perfect crusts and generous toppings—so delicious! This has been my favorite pizza since 1995, and it continues to impress with its consistent tastiness! I ordered online and picked it up; they even brought it out to my car. The service was fantastic, topped off by the great pizza!

We had an amazing meal with friendly and respectful staff. My wife and I ordered a 12-piece wing combo with both hot and mild flavors, along with a small pizza. It was a fantastic value and tasted great! We'll definitely be back!
