Pleasant and friendly staff seat you in a spacious outdoor area. The tables are separated from each other with plastic sheeting which was great you didn’t have to listen to your neighbors- or see them. Enjoyed a great pint of Guinness View all feedback.
What Jeanie DeVincenzo doesn't like about O'Brien's Pub:
In between a 3 and a 4 star. Place is fun and lively decent for kids since they have the fountain with toy ducks and nets. Reason for just 3 stars was because food was average, fish was way over cooked and chewy but all other meals at table were fine. Also no ocean view, hard to give 5 stars in Newport to a place with no ocean view. Great bar, good food, fun and friendly people. Love it! Also gluten-free pizza in full size!
Great place to hang around with friends. Megan was amazing. Visit them when you are in Newport. So much fun!!!!
A must eat when in Newport! I've got the Smokey-Gebirge-Hähnchen sandwich and it was dying. Juicy grilled chicken and crispy bacon. The fries are also amazing. My husband got the Angusburger and it was cooked for perfection. Such a fun atmosphere!
Memories of my college days in O'Briens. I took my family to dinner while I was in college. Was pleasantly surprised how good the New England was Clam Chowder and the VEGGIE Wrap
Stopped here on our first night in Newport with no reservation and no idea what to expect. Well, the service was friendly and the atmosphere was very warm and local. We were in the mood for good bar food and this was the RIGHT CHOICE. The Lobster Roll and a Blackened Chick Quesadilla hit the spot as we washed them down with some local craft drafts. Excellent experience and would absolutely go back.
