Stayed at the Novotel and was a little apprehensive about dining at Bistro Dalby. The orange chairs unsettled me. However the service for our pre-diner drink was so good we decided to stay. The food (barramundi and rissotto) was exquisitly prepared and delicious. The service friendly. AND the orange chairs are really comfortable - love them.I would like to come back on a balmy evening and dine outside. View all feedback.
What Laverne Yundt doesn't like about Bistro Dalby:
If you can afford to pay $11 for a prawn, you will still be disappointed. My wife and I have dined in most Accor locations around Australia and this is the standout worst. Poor service and very disappointing food. View all feedback.
My wife and I ate one of the best meals we have ever eaten here last night. We eat out every Thursday night and I in particular am very hard to please. The taste, texture, presentation and combinations of flavours were close to perfect. The staff were really lovely too. They apologised for the slow service several times, but we really didn’t think it was slow. We’ll definitely be returning.
We had an excellent dinner at Bistro Dalby. The staff couldn't have been friendlier, attentive or more accommodating. The food was excellent and generous portion sizes. My daughter loved her pasta and devoured it. My husband said his fish was excellent. My pumpkin ravioli and vegetarian pizza were both excellent. Dessert was a deconstructed mango cheesecake which we all shared and loved.
Dined here on a Sunday night with my wife and Mum visiting from QLD. Service was excellent, very friendly and professional. We had 2 x barramundi fish specials and a pumpkin ravioli. Also finished with array of sorbet and deconstructed mango cheesecake for dessert. All food was very tasty and beautifully presented. Highly recommend Bistro Dalby.
We entered a bright and airy atmosphere and experienced good service throughout. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet. The usual buffet fare, hot and cold dishes. One night we ate before 6.00 and so we ordered off the lunch menu. We had the steak sandwich and chicken wrap. Both came with lovely fries. The other two nights we had the 'chicken two ways' and the barramundi, with sides of mixed vegetables and green beans and toasted almond flakes. We enjoyed our meals.
For a hotel restaurant in a city with a very limited atmosphere, the cuisine is very correct. The place is not particularly pleasant.
