Next up was the rice, and I chose lime rice. For the filling, I went with a vegan option—a tasty sweet potato and kidney bean chili. Then, I added various toppings from the large selection available, including onions, tomatoes, and jalapeños. I used guacamole in place of cheese, which I was more than happy about. There were plenty of sauces to choose from, and I went for the hot chipotle. The spicier, the better! Nex... View all feedback.

This restaurant isn't typically my style, but I was brought here by someone with different tastes. I had a burrito, and it was decent. We had about 20 minutes to spare, and it served its purpose. The options were limited, but it was satisfactory enough for the occasion. View all feedback.
I wanted to sniff this place for a while. the opportunity came on the first Thursday in March 2017 to see peter hook and the light at the fantastic boiler shop that is very close. the concept is something like subway. start at an end of the counter and work over. first they get their meal (burrito, fajita, quesadilla, nachos, chili and rice or salat bowl). By the way, I don't waste my time on salads, only for the case that someone asks or even caressed. I went for the burrito that was first heated on a grill plate in preparation to fill. the rice. I chose the calculus. then I asked for a vegan filling that was a delicious sweet potato and nierenbohnen chili. further components were then added from the large selection, such as wobble, tomato and jalapeños. guacamole was used as a cheese substitute that made me more than happy. many sauces for choice. I was for the hot chipotle. the hotter the better really. next time I can try the hot zapata made with Scotch bonus when I feel brave. that was then packed beautifully and tightly into a piece of foil. I washed it with a Mexican beer. what else? I even added more chipotle sauce on the table. £5 gets you a burrito and £3,20 gets you a bottle of beer. it is the Zapatista path.
Not my standard bag, but I was pulled here by someone with lower standards than me. Had a burrito and it was the job. We had a deadline of 20 minutes and it filled a gap. Limited, but okay, if necessary.
I've been a regular visitor to Zapatista over the years and the burritos here are pretty tasty, which you can eat in or takeaway. I tend to get either the sweet potato and spicy bean burrito or most recently I got the assorted vegetables and spicy bean burrito for £4.90. As a vegan I cannot order cheese or sour cream so instead I always ask for guacamole as a substitute with a hot sauce and salad on top. There are mild sauces available too so don't worry. It is advisable to inform staff you are vegan. Occasionally they sometimes also have a special vegan option available during vegan week such as the aubergine burrito.
Good food with sweet potato vegan options and customisable fillings
This is some of the worst food I’ve ever been served, I couldn’t eat it and I eat most (vegan) things! It didn’t look clean where they were serving from either, I was worried I’d get food poisoning. Don’t waste your money
