You can’t go wrong eating at an Italian restaurant. I’m a pescatarian and always try the fish dishes when I eat out. The waiters at Pani’s Cafe were extremely accommodating as we were a large group. My prawn starter was adapted due to my allergies...and so was my main course of sea bass. I can’t fault the food or the service. Absolutely lovely waiting staff and chefs. Definitely visit here again when I come back to N... View all feedback.
What Joshua Baker doesn't like about Pani's Cafe:
Didn’t have a reservation but on way to cinema and decided to go for food. Chose Pani’s as we have been on numerous occasions. Told we would have to wait for a table which we said was fine but after about minutes a group...of ladies walked in without a reservation and a member of staff told them to follow him as he had a table for them. No asking about us still waiting. We politely went to the bar area and told them... View all feedback.
I often recommended panis for me and finally made the trip on a busy Saturday evening with my sister. I can say it may be the best Italian food I had in newcastle! the service was impeccable and all staff are very. friendly and attentive. the eating was piping hot and served in perfect time we have the kauty garlic brot, classic bruschetta, chicken pasta (sorry I am useless with Italian names! and scallop ravioli share an ice cream. we also both enjoyed a tasty cocktail and the bill came to the very cheap price of £60.
Around 18 clock in newcastle and reserved at pani by 7. I had the heavy fish. my partner and son had both Ravioli dishes. our waiter has been sweating with me about my application to chilled red wine, but we have a bottle of the cellar and a wine cooler. eating was beautiful as always. on Saturday the lunchtime was raised and was disappointed to find out that they were fully booked. for lunch and also in the evening. pani is my favorite restaurant. highly recommended booking them well in advance.
All flawless ambiente, decor, beautiful personal and of course eating. Italian with Sardinian twist. highly recommended
Eating was amazing and the whole staff was so friendly. the service was very fast. I have a starter and a main and a cocktail that was delish, and my mother had wein who was also beautiful. 100% koks back
Having visited here in June 2021 and been hugely impressed by the atmosphere, the service (great help with the Sardinian elements on the menu) and the food, we revisited in September 2021 and again in June this year and were really pleased that standards on...all three counts have been maintained. My friend and I shared a magnificent canolo during both of the two recent visits: how on earth the old pathologist in the Inspector Montalbano TV series was supposed to eat four in one sitting is beyond me! Already inked in for a revist during our next trip to Newcastle.
