I have been a customer of Tung Shing since the 1980s and have always enjoyed their food. However, after taking a break from ordering due to Covid, I was disappointed with my recent takeaway experience. The chicken had bones in it and was rubbery, fatty, and grey. The pork was also rubbery and the curry sauce was weak and runny. The chips were soggy and pale. I have never had a meal from them like this before and it was really disappointing. It seems like the quality has declined. The chicken was particularly awful. Such a shame.

We have been loyal customers of Tung Shing for many years due to our love for their food. However, after their recent reopening following months of closure, we ordered takeout for three last night and were extremely disappointed. The chicken had a strange perfume-like taste and a rubbery texture, as if it had been boiled. The curry sauce was surprisingly mild and lacking in the flavors we have come to expect. The noodles were still delicious as always, and the onions in the curry were tasty. We are not sure what went wrong, but after eagerly waiting for Tung Shing to reopen, we were let down by the lackluster taste compared to what we are used to.

I placed a phone order at 5:50pm and was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. I went to pick it up but ended up waiting until 7:20pm. By the time I got home, the food was not very hot. I was very disappointed and will not be ordering from Tung Shing again. Unfortunately, a lot of the food ended up in the trash. Such a waste of money.
