Just opened recently, this restaurant offers innovative cuisine and excellent food and wine. The live music is fantastic, and the service is top-notch—thanks to Melissa, who is the best in town! View all feedback.
What Albert Gilding doesn't like about Antuzzi's Newcastle Inn:
The service was excellent, and the music was fantastic. I understand that the restaurant has faced challenges due to the recent shutdowns, so it's reasonable that a few things might not be perfect. However, I would advise against sitting on the back deck; it feels quite unsafe, and I'm worried it might make headlines in the future. It sways like you're on the water! LOL. View all feedback.
I love the building and the history, but I wish the current owner would go so that someone could take it and let the place run to its full potential!
Its ashame it closed. Its such a historical place and in its day had some top entertainers perform there! It was a local hot spot of that era. I am surprised this place is still listed on Google! The information is totally wrong!! Its been closed for over 18 mos. that I know of. Went there 1 x for breakfast and it was not that great, poor service, and extremely expensive for what we had! Also, they never kept regular hours or advertised via media, direct mail, flyers, etc. So the residents who rarely went into town had no idea it had been re opened. It needs an owner who knows what it takes to get a business up and running! It had so much potential and there is no local area business for musical entertainment, except for Auburn which is 5 miles away and not conducive for night life activity. Drawing attention to the historical value and researching the named stars that appeared there would amaze many locals. I remember this place back in the 70's, my husband and I would stop in on our way to Grass Valley Friday night and stop on Sundays for there Jam sessions. Great way to complete the weekend!!! Oh those good ol' days!!
Good music, okay food, beer is overpriced. No A/C wish they had hotter servers, and something for a younger crowd to at least one of the nights so I'm not constantly being attempted to be dragged home by one of these rowdy cougars. Youngsters around want a place to listen to music that live here locally too. And upgrade the music or put more music on the jukebox. But this place as of January 1st 2018 this place is permanently closed I live next door I know he has a couple late night prostitutes stop by which we gotta see and he sleeps in the bar a lot but it's definitely not open for business.
Has great potential. Nice music venue band was great love Jelly Bread. Onion rings were ok. Server knowledge needs improvement but overall I enjoyed my experience.
Friendliness, Michael does everything to make you happy you found his pride and joy. Food is great prices worth trying another trip to Antuzzi’s
