What Lauren Prior doesn't like about Epicureo:
Love the attempt. Dough is great chewy and bakes nicely but the dough to topping ratio is heavy on the dough, ie too much crust. Sauce is a little sweet and pepperoni is indistinguishable. But I'm very picky when it comes to amazing pizza. I've had the best of the best at Tinderhearth in Maine. View all feedback. What Ben Lord likes about Epicureo:
This tiny pizza takeaway in the old tannery turns out some of the best pies I’ve ever had the opportunity to eat. The thin, hand stretched dough was light as a feather, stiff as a board. The exterior had just enough delicious char from the high temp, the toppings were generous, but restrained enough to not weigh down the dough.
