What Will Smith doesn't like about Central Deli Luncheonette:
Food is pretty good. However the current staff is horrible. I believe it’s the son that is usually at the counter. Rude to customers in person and on phone. Would rather argue with customers about technical names of food instead accommodating customer. Lived locally for 3 decades and been a repeat customer since childhood. Will no longer be patronizing this business. View all feedback.
Love this place.. They've been around before i was born. My parents ate there when they lived in newark all the time and now i do.
Food is good, but my last visit, 7/2/18 not so good, and the reason is because the old cook does not work there anymore. The fish was fried too hard, i asked for dry toast they brought out toast on rye, the French toast tasted like it was dipped in milk, eggs, cinnamon, and onions. They are looking for a experienced cook. If someone reading this is interested.
Great customer service and good food but has now become expensive.
