Great shop, great people, great food. Very upset to see this store being looped into whatever nonsense went down at another location by another owner. The people at this store are fine hardworking NYC folk. And there food is awesome! Hidden gem is the Best egg sandy in NYC. View all feedback.
What Tom C doesn't like about Ottomanelli Butcher Shop:
When you walk in, you are definitely transported back in time to a sort of Sopranos vibe. The floor is dusted with I'm guessing sawdust so if you're wearing dress shoes, just take an extra second as you walk in.Ordered a chicken parm hero as per the suggestion of the owner ? . While the sammich was a monster sammich for just $12, there was nothing that really stood out in terms of flavor. I will say the breaded chick... View all feedback.
The highest quality grass fed/finished beef. I order ground beef and marinated flank here. Absolutely in love with the quality, the prices, and the staff!
Nice food but the want to charge me 4.50 for 2 cups of water. I thought water is free in NYC.
Keyfood in Yorkville is featuring the frozen entrées so I got the eggplant rollatini and am quite impressed. Heated in microwave for 5 minutes. Minimally processed, tastes fresh, low carb count of 8 for the entire package which was filling.

While the sammich was a monster sammich for just $12, there was nothing that really stood out in terms of flavor. I will say the breaded chicken was fresh and not at all hard tack like many other delis that sell chicken parms. Would I go back? Sure, if I'm in the area. I would like to try some of the specials or other sammiches.
I ordered a Rack of Lamb for my Easter Sunday ? Dinner. Drove all the way from Yonkers. I usually go to Ottomanelli on Bleeker Street in The West Village and now I know why I should have went back there. This location dressed it up nice and all that. I put it in the refrigerator until the next day to fund that I paid $169.00 for 40% Fat!!! It was a horrible cut, not trimmed of fat at all. A Sunday Dunner ruined...
