We thoroughly enjoyed our Afternoon Tea at Majorelle! The service was impeccable, the food was an absolute delight, and the decor was lovely. They presented the Lily of the Valley/Christian Dior-themed tea beautifully. We are already planning a return visit. We were celebrating the 90th ! birthday of a dear friend and she cherished every moment, especially how our outstanding server fussed over her. Overall, a specia... View all feedback.
What Gilda Bernier doesn't like about Majorelle:
Attention management! Please check on friendliness of the staff. The manger or whoever at the door is is really really rude and hates pets. I was passing by this restaurant with my dog and got a lot of attitude from the manager/runner tall skinny man 50+ years old looking) 3/21/22 9:30 pm) . I was curious about this place and wanted to see it’s closer without entering and he run outside and yelled at me saying that I... View all feedback.
The Private Events team at Majorelle is a class act that is warm and accommodating. They provided a world class level of attention and service throughout the planning process as well as during my wedding dinner. The food and service was truly impeccable from start to finish. This is a true gem and I am looking forward to spending many special occasions here. Thank you to Kate, Guillaume, Manuel, Boris and other team members, I am forever grateful for how special you made our day.
Elegant and natural floral ambience. Top service Food great. Beef tenderloin amazing and lobster risoto really espectacular. Not getting 5 start because escargots were ok as the fried ball was not as crunchy you my want
This is the most exceptional dining experience my husband and I have ever had in NYC, and one of the best in our life (we've lived here for 6 years and been to many of the top restaurants). When we visited for the first time, we knew it was where we had to have our micro wedding dinner and reception. From the moment we first met Jekaterina (Kate), she was friendly, respectful, impeccable in her attention to detail and very responsive (almost instantaneous). A consummate professional, she ensured our wedding dinner experience in The Club Room was exquisite and delightful in every day. What separated this place from the many outstanding 5-star NYC restaurants for us was that every staff member was personable, sincere and down-to-earth in addition to providing exceptional service and unparalleled food. We felt truly welcomed and invited to stay and enjoy our time there. The lamb chops melted in your mouth, the champagne was divine and and flowing and the chocolate dessert had outstanding depth of flavor. When our plans to do our first dances in Central Park changed the day of the wedding due to the weather, Majorelle seamlessly and graciously moved some furniture to make a space for us to dance. It made for an iconic and intimate moment, as if we were in someone's luxurious living room celebrating the start of our new lives together. My new French in-laws and my American family could not have imagined a more stunning place to toast to our special day, and the photos from the evening simply take our breath away. On top of all this, the entire place bursts with the scent of fresh flowers, which are massive and refreshed regularly throughout the hotel lobby and restaurant. It is nothing short of a dreamy floral timeless escape from the daily life of NYC. Thank you to Jekaterina and the entire Majorelle staff for enhancing the magic and beauty of our big day. We can't wait to come back again and again.
A beautiful and elegant traditional French restaurant with great service. The sort of dining experience that feels like a mini vacation. The food was lovely.
I used to like this place, I’ve celebrated so many birthdays of mine and of my family members here, but today was really the worst. Today we came to Majorelle to celebrate Thanksgiving and were very disappointed and upset for the reasons below: 1. The servers had weird attitudes and would behave in a strange way. 2. The servers pushed my chair about 10-15 times. 3. I ordered stripped black bass and it smelled terrible, I asked to take it away (my mom did the same . 4. I ordered a salad with blue cheese, pear and walnuts, but it was just not good, very plain. 5. I ordered the same dessert I used to order (the soufflé , but it was not good either. My mom’s dessert (the pecan pie was soulless as well. 6. I also had lobster ravioli and it tasted as if it was right from a Whole Foods shelves. Cheap. Very disappointed. And all this “pleasure” for $1,500.
