Las Delicias Mexicanas - New York City

The restaurant was pleasant, but the birria tacos I ordered did not meet my expectations. The service was okay. Overall, I would rate the food as 1 out of 5 stars.

I love this place! The food is authentic, the prices are good, and the service is friendly. The decorations are cute and the patio area is awesome. While I personally wouldn't pay $20 for a margarita, my Pacifico with lime and salt was cold and reasonably priced. The tacos, rice, and beans were delicious. The salsas included were spicy but I couldn't stop eating them and covered my tacos in them. I will definitely be back! Hopefully they will have a happy hour special so I can try a margarita someday.

I entered this restaurant hoping for a great experience, but left feeling disappointed and still hungry. The service was slow, even though I was the only customer there. When the food finally arrived, it was not good. The chicken was overcooked, and my request for no onions was ignored, almost causing an issue with my allergies. The tacos were dry and the meat was tough. The drink I ordered was weak and served with a large straw. The same song played repeatedly, and staff conversations were often heard. Overall, this was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had.

Outstanding food with a broad menu. The signature enchilada dish was superb.
