The restaurant offers several delicious vegan options, including pea kubeh and zucchini pasta. Everything is clearly labeled, and the staff is very welcoming to vegans. Highly recommended! View all feedback.
What Marion Blümler doesn't like about Kubeh:
I really wanted to like this place more but there were a few hits and misses with the food. Loved the mezze with a doughy pita especially the red pepper one. Kind of regret getting Middle Eastern eggs as they just seemed standard except for the delicious bread on the side. Kubeh was good but not my favorite. Maybe I should’ve tried the non-fried version. Staff was nice and accommodating. It was a bit loud that day as... View all feedback.
This place was delicious! Went here to celebrate my Fiancé 's birthday! We had so many good things to eat. We started our meal with the hummus, followed by the mushroom, charred eggplant, and beet small plates, and finished with the lamb shank and the kubeh with chicken broth. I would say the flavors were pretty complex without being spicy. The atmosphere was perfect for our date night. Highly recommend.
We had a very plain soup, nothing was impressive or comforting about it. The koftah meat didn’t taste fresh, it tasted funky but the pita bread was the winner. If I’m to order anything in this restaurant, I would order only their pita bread and nothing else because so far everything I ordered was disappointing. I give the two stars for the pita, the place and the environment.
My friend wanted to try this place because of the gluten free pita bread (extra $2.50 charge). we ordered the hummus ful, cauliflower hummus, hummus cauliflower salad, wild mushrooms, fried kubeh and chicken shwarma. the hummus ful was delicious and so was the cauliflower salad. the portion of the salad was huge and def I recommend splitting it instead of getting a dish yourself. I wanted to try the fried kubeh since they're known for kubeh, but I was disappointed the texture if it was ok and just felt dry overall in my mouth. also, I had to request pita for the hummus thinking it would come with it but to my surprise it was an extra $2 to eat regular pita. I guess pita does not come with the hummus you order?? the chicken shwarma was just ok too, nothing too special about it.service our server was good and attentive and answered our questions abt the menu and what he recommended. after the restaurant got busier he stopped checking in, but was still around overall, the food was just ok and theres better places out there in the city for small plates and at a better price point. not sure if I'd come here again
This was a hungry boi certified meal. V yummy. The shakshuka was a biiit underwhelming, but otherwise this was an excellent brunch spot. Highly recommend the hummus (which was topped with rich and delicious tahini) and the golden beets/feta spread (one of the best apps I’ve had in a long time). Also appreciated the selection of international beers and, of note, highly attentive wait staff. Big boi thumbz up for these homies. Check out the pics yo
