Tucked away in the market, the atmosphere is wonderfully calming. They have an extensive selection of wines. I sampled the Bolognese, which is made fresh right in front of you—a lovely personal touch. It was absolutely delicious, and I can’t get it out of my mind! View all feedback.

The appetizers, meat, some of the pasta, and the service were all very good. The octopus was expertly cooked and seasoned just right. However, I was a bit let down that they didn’t offer any bread or olive oil. The only dish that didn’t meet expectations was the mushroom pasta; the mushrooms were too crunchy for my taste, and the pasta had a rather grainy texture. Portion size too small and doesn?t taste as good as an upscale pasta shop should. Pasta was dry. Very poor.
I came here 2,3 years ago with my family and loved it! They have by far the best carbonara in NYC no oversell! Everything we had today was amazing and the chef and crew are extremely polite and attentive… would absolutey recommend this hidden gem…
Some of the best risotto and carbonara we’ve had in a while!! Risotto was very flavorful, and had generous portions of meat. Carbonara was very peppery and also would recommend. Great service as well!
Love it! Their risotto and octopus is amazing! Drinks are good too! The place is small so, go early or make reservations. Price is fair as well!
I’ve had an amazing portion of Branzino fish with potatoes. My husband had some mushroom pasta and it was very good too. Portions are not small.
