Loved loved loved ones loved our pre-repair! celery apfelsuppe was delicious. to die the chicken dish and my vanille heer desserts fabulous! not to mention the beautiful white wine! service also fantastic. I'm back!

This place was very lively and beautifully decorated. the atmosphere was great with live piano music and singer. this is a beautiful place for date night. overall, eating was quite good and the wine selection was decent. the service could have been much better. our waiter could not answer many questions about the menu or the wine list and was not very attentive. that was not the best French food I ever had, but a good meal. I eat escargot at any time when I see it on a menu and this tasted pretty good. the problem I had with the service was the way they served him. the dish was too flat and had not much butter quality, brot to dive. I had the lamb specially and it was moist and very delicate with a beautiful taste. my friend had the steak and pommes and thought it tasted good and was cooked nicely. it was a decent experience and I would consider it for the atmosphere and some drinks or apps.

Restaurant week menu was perfect lobster bisque, pfanne frittierte see bass, dessert (chocolate eis or poached birne.) eating is amazing, could say the chefs are detailed. presentation is beautiful and service was organized. but cannot speak with the regular menu/price.

Visit from the country. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. fantastic service, nice eating and great music. such a beautiful atmosphere, friendly staff. stunning prewar decoration.

I’ve always heard sauces make French food extra special, and that’s certainly the case at Cafe Josephine. Nice variety on the menu. We had the watermelon, feta arugula salad, Chinese ravioli, Berkshire pork chops, the red snapper special seafood dish,and apple tart Tartine. Everything delicious.
