I had the crab cake. It was delicious, very generous on the crab meat, and tasted fresh. The staff are very friendly attentive, although they had a few large groups to attend to, including a table of 24! I would like to try it during the summer on an afternoon. View all feedback.
What marco ströhle doesn't like about Brooklyn Crab:
There was no dinner. We spent 30 dollars to get there, and the restaurante was closed! It was an insult! The restaurant simply act like nothing happened, and sent us no message even to apologize. I really hope that no one else have to go through this like we did. View all feedback.
Come here for the atmosphere above all else the location deep in Red Hook makes you feel like you're not even in NYC, and the ocean views are amazing,...
This was my first time dining early at Brooklyn Crab. Firstly: Shout to our server MIGUEL! He was knowledgeable regarding the drink food menu options,...
Great service, and a nice selection of drinks. The Dijon mussels app were on point, and the snow crab claws were succulent. The Classic Lobster Roll is...
The atmosphere is more like a chill bar than a restaurant. It's loud and lots of air flowing through on all floors. We ate on the third floor and the view of the sunset (for dinner) was amazing. The food was great. The menu doesn't say that there's lobster included in the order for two people so we ordered an extra lobster on the side. However, when the dish came, it had lobster on it so we felt like we wasted our money on the extra order. (The description doesn't say lobster on the menu). The raw tower was good as well. I gave four stars because my drink, the **** Mary drink that comes with an oyster, just tasted like oyster juice. No tomato taste at all. I did not enjoy it. I got enticed by the instagrammable oyster but if you don't love a whole cup of oyster juice, I wouldn't recommend it. I also felt as though the crab was not fresh and was overcooked because when I cracked it open, the crab was browning instead of red. It was still cooked but was quite dry. I ordered the BK steamer which was a good portion for one person. Oh and they have Cornhole on the first floor and can just be a place for drinks and hanging out
This place is definitely a hidden gem. Keep in mind you must show proof of vaccination to reserve and dine at entry. I did a late dinner here and it was magical. I wasn’t able to see detailed water views, but knew I was on the shore because a boat passed. It wasn’t busy at all. Spacious, quiet with fantastic service. The staff was attentive and pleasant. The food was fresh, flavorful and perfectly cooked. When in Brooklyn GO HERE!
