This is one of the only places I have found in the city that carries an extensive collection of young living essential oils and they are all available for rehearsal! also the juiceable is great.

I often buy in here and find a decent selection to very cheap trips, and also (which here in manhattan can of course be rare).

The female pharmacist with the accent is really the ONLY reason I still go here! I caught an old pervertish looking guy literally on his knees watching me through a hole in the wall from outside the actual pharmacy in the grocery side on two occasions. (The products on the pharmacy shelves need to be dusted with a towel they are so old and invaluable) he was desperate to associate his small mind and big stereotype to my assumed persona. Too bad he missed the little old lady that I saw drop the box of premium tea bags in her pocket book? What an imbecile! Then on one occasion I’m in the clinic area waiting for the pharmacist to come back and complete my vaccination. All of a sudden some skinny looking Hispanic guy comes from the front of the store in a loud accusatory tone questioning what am I doing in the office. The one directly across from the POS counter in this tiny space that is only unlocked in a need to basis by pharmacy staff. Well I can see why he wasn’t so bright he was just emptying the trash cans. Which ls what he’s qualified to do and should stick to his expertise and not customer relations or loss prevention. I’m not even going to go in to detail about the delivery driver. Let’s just conclude with the fair statement if you look a certain way, I suppose you will be satisfied but everyone deserves to be treated with respect and dignity. They are overpriced have terrible customer service due to their ignorance. So why should people shop where people don’t appreciate their presence let alone their business? Please it’s a Duane Reade right across the street. Not much better but at least they are consistently suspicious and have things a Theif may attempt to steal however, I wouldn’t know from experience.

The main reason I continue to visit this restaurant is because of the female pharmacist with the accent. Unfortunately, my experiences at this place have not been positive. On two occasions, I encountered disturbing behavior from other customers, including a man spying on me through a hole in the wall and someone questioning why I was in a restricted area. The pharmacy shelves are also in need of cleaning and updating. Overall, the customer service is lacking and I have had unpleasant encounters with staff members. I believe that every customer should be treated with respect and dignity. There are other options nearby, such as Duane Reade, which may provide a better experience.

I love this store! It has an excellent selection of healthy food and amazing produce
