I'm from L. A., so I know Mexican food. I've traveled all the way from La Super Rica in Montecito to Wahoo's in Encinitas. And I'll tell you, every Mexican place in New York is the same. Yola's (and L. A. Burrito, and Loco Burrito, and San Loco . . . are perfectly okay, but when you know what this stuff *should* taste like, you won't go back. View all feedback.
What Tiffany W doesn't like about Yola's Cafe:
Average Mexican food is the best way to describe Yola's. It's super close to home so you'd think delivery would be instantaneous, unfortunately not the case. I ordered rice and beans and a fajita plate here. The food is bland and I was hoping for more robust fresh flavors. View all feedback.
I remember getting the lengua tongue nachos years ago here. YOLA. You only live once...

This place is slow and the food is ok. Nothing special. However, the food is not worth for the price as they are little too plain... Would have used the same amount of money for somewhere else like Chipotle and gotten a better food for the price...
I ordered chicken flautas via seamless...delivery was quick...food OK at most. Nothing to write home about. 4 flautas for $9 they should have been superb!
This place is great. Yummy food, good portions, and great pricing. Super casual. The service has gotten good.
