Was User at Untitled a mag?
On Sunday evening, I decided to review the new iteration of Untitled. They have kept the name and the Robert Indiana EAT sign, but everything else is completely new. I started with a cocktail called the Little 12, a modern version of an Americano. Eduardo, their sommelier, helped me choose a bottle of Chinon, the 2012 Baudry Clos Guillot, which paired beautifully with my austere turnip salad and roasted chicken breas... View all feedback.
What Alex dislikes about Untitled:
The setting, food, and service at Untitled are spot on. Fresh and local define the creative dishes on the menu, and during my most recent visit, a tomato and peach salad was one of the standout dishes that we sampled. Other hits were the fried chicken thighs and the brioche doughnut with tart raspberry powder for a surprising twist. Fair warning that all dishes are very small, and if you plan on sharing, you'll need... View all feedback.

Had an amazing meal here! Our waitress Cait was the best and she took great care of us.
Earlier this summer, I stopped by here for a quick bite with my friend after a visit to The Whitney and the Highline.
I was visiting from LA and a friend recommended this placeI am so glad we went! It was perfect for our group of 6.
I haven't been back in a few years. I wanted a comfortable place to spend an evening with friends. Reminds of Via Veneto ... and it didn't disappoint! Cool, comfortable and the food was wonderful! We will come back!
The restaurant serves delicious food with attentive service, offering well-executed Italian dishes. It is perfect for a family dinner.
We are so sad to hear that our favorite restaurant in NYC is closing. We recently returned to celebrate our 20th Anniversary at Untitled and it was just one of the most magical nights of my life. Special thank yous to managers, Alexis and Caitlin, and waiters, Isabella, Kurt, and Nick for making everything so special for us: your warm welcome, your generosity, your caring, the incredible food. And Alex even made us a special drink in our honor! I can't believe it's closing.
Untitled is a special place. My girlfriend and I dined there for her first birthday that we spent together in fall of 2016, and we just celebrated our engagement there this past Saturday (1/26/19). I had visited the first time because I was friends with the prior beverage director, and we visited again based on what a wonderful time we had the first time. Even without a connection to the staff, Untitled shines. The location is beautiful. The people are friendly and the atmosphere strikes the right balance of relaxing and upscale. And Chef Suzanne Cupps has designed a delicious and inviting menu. For three (w fiancee's cousin), we shared five items: charred octopus salad, kale caesar, charred cauliflower, the sourdough, and the fried chicken. Each was fantastic. All of the dishes were savory and balanced I guess that's what happens when a Chef knows how to work with vegetables, but can still fry a mean chicken. Plus . . . the food just made me happy! I think that's the point of eating out. Thank you to Chef Suzanne and Caitlin for a wonderful night.
Slow kitchen resulted in free appetizer. Food here is top notch: well prepared with excellent locally sourced ingredients. Friendly service and no tipping policy.
Enjoyed sitting outside and the very good vegetarian options.

Fair warning that all dishes are very small, and if you plan on sharing, you'll need at least 3 dishes per person, which adds up. That said, the flavors, setting and experience are worth it.
