The sweet potato... read more I had a wonderful experience at The Mary Lane. This West Village restaurant offers a cozy atmosphere and serves delicious New American cuisine. The sweet potato lasagna was a standout dish, and the service was both friendly and attentive. To top it off, the cocktails were fantastic! It's definitely a must-visit, and I can't wait to return.

The restaurant was severely understaffed, with just one person handling the duties of bartender, waitress, and host. She was unable to give proper attention to all the tables. The male manager/host was also not helpful at all. It's disappointing to say that I wouldn't recommend this place or return.

I found the food tasty. I had fruit with yogurt and the almond cake. The portions were not huge, so if you're hungry take that into consideration. But the mimosas come out in a darling coupe glass and are quite tasty. The atmosphere is cozy. Our server was friendly and helpful. It's worth taking a trip down Mary Lane.
