we had lunch before our Broadway show and all in our party enjoyed our meal very much. lachs, Caesar-Salate, ribeye and burger. also the fries were delicious! great wein and cocktails. the server were all very attentive to ensure that everything was cooked to perfection and the review came in the time to make our matinee. What Robynslp95 doesn't like about Sessions:
Sessions was decorated so nice for Christmas but insanely expensive . 4 guests 180 with tip . Juice 14 , eggs in the 20 range. That was with one mimosa. It's the beverages that are out of control , you can up charge for alcohol but soda ? Coffee? I will say the French toast, omelets etc were terrific. Friendly staff but very haphazard and English was a barrier . If I'm paying prices like I'm a Ritz I expect that leve... View all feedback.
Truly wonderful dining experience at Sessions. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, with a lounge-style set up. They have a lovely menu with a number of tempting choices. The kale soup, king salmon and parsnip puree were all delicious, and the chocolate cake was absolutely heavenly. My server Imane was fantastic, and made certain that everything was perfect. A great addition to the Midtown Manhattan dining scene. I look forward to many more sessions at Sessions.
Brilliant live Artist, the food is incredible with a wide choice drinks.
Absolutely the worst restaurant in NYC. Avoid this place at all costs. Service was abominable. Slow and inattentive. We asked where our food was three times and was told it was coming in five minutes. After 75 minutes and no food we went to the hostess to complain and she said sorry, but we’re busy. What? I asked her to send a manager over. One never came. We told the waitress we were leaving. She said the food was coming out. Two minutes later, the manager finally came over with the food and said he was comping the whole meal. That did us no good as we were on a time crunch at that point. The food a club sandwich, a salad, grilled chicken, and pasta with cheese was inedible. We left and went to a fast food place and had a better meal there. This is absolutely a garbage restaurant that will rip you off. STAY. AWAY.
Beautiful new restaurant inside hardrock hotel. We found out they opened up 5 months ago. Food was great, service took way too long.
Great space but the food and service was lackluster and left more to be desired.
